The White Sox are a member of the Central Division of Major League Baseball's American League. From to the present, the White Sox have played in U.S.  over the Angels 4-3 on Tuesday night.

The Angels wasted a 3-2 lead and allowed just two hits before Paul Konerko's game-tying homer in the ninth off Troy Percival Troy Eugene Percival (born August 9, 1969 in Fontana, California) is a Major League Baseball reliever on the St. Louis Cardinals.  hit a game-tying home run off Percival on Friday.

It was the Angels' 25th loss in 31 games.

``He hit it where he's supposed to,'' Percival said of Konerko, who also homered Monday night. ``Right now I'm on a roll where every time I throw the pitch down, it goes out of the ballpark. I've got to pitch inside.''

Percival said he doesn't know why he's changed his approach.

``It's just my fault,'' he said.

``The hardest part for Troy is the inconsistency of the save opportunities,'' Angels manager Terry Collins said. ``It's tough. You get an inning here, an inning there. The other night, he gave up a home run to Tony Clark on a changeup. Tonight, he got beat on his best pitch.''

Chicago, which has won five of six, left the bases loaded in the 10th when Magglio Ordonez, who hit a two-run homer in the first, grounded into an inning-ending double play.

Ray Durham Ray Durham (born November 30, 1971, in Charlotte, North Carolina), nicknamed The Sugarman, is a second baseman for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball.  singled with one out in the 12th off Mike Holtz Michael James (Mike) Holtz (born October 10, 1972 in Arlington, Virginia was a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the California Angels (1996), Anaheim Angels (1997-2001), Oakland Athletics (2002[start]), San Diego Padres (2002[end  (1-3), Mike Caruso walked and Thomas fell behind in the count against rookie reliever Lou Pote before singling to left-center field.

Bob Howry (4-3) pitched a perfect 12th for the win.

Mo Vaughn reached 20 homers for the seventh consecutive season, connecting in the fourth off White Sox starter Jaime Navarro for the 250th of his career. Vaughn also had an RBI single in the fifth.

Angels starter Steve Sparks gave up two runs, two hits and six walks in eight innings. He allowed Ordonez's homer in the first and an infield single to Caruso in the fifth. Sparks has not thrown a complete game since May 24, 1996, when he went eight innings in a 4-3 loss at Comiskey Park

Navarro allowed three runs, 11 hits and four walks in 7 2-3 innings.

After Ordonez's homer put Chicago ahead, the Angels tied it in the fourth when Vaughn homered for the second straight game and Jeff Huson, who was 3 for 5, hit an RBI single.

``It was a good 0-2 hit. I'll take it,'' Thomas said of the game-winner.
