ANDA will be demonstrating the interoperability live in Atlanta Live in Atlanta is the first DVD release of the German power metal band Savage Circus. ANDA's UAP 2000 platform is AAL (ATM Adaption Layer) The part of the ATM protocol that breaks up application packets into 48-byte payloads which become ATM cells when the 5-byte headers are attached. The AAL resides between the higher layer transport protocols and the ATM layer. 2 LES standards compliant, setting the stage for interoperability with multiple vendors offering AAL2 standards based IAG's like ClariNet from Woodwind Communications.

ANDA-Woodwind Demonstration Details

--  A live demonstration with unveil the interoperability of the UAP
    2000 multi-function platform with the ClariNet IAG demonstrating
    the capability to convert and carry voice traffic over ATM, the
    transportation through ATM infrastructure, and the conversion by
    the UAP 2000 of voice ATM traffic into a Class 5 TDM switch.

--  Interoperability with a DSLAM application using the UAP 2000 and
    the ClariNet will also be shown.

ANDA Networks is conducting compliance testing with DSLAM (DSL Access Multiplexor) A central office (CO) device for ADSL service that intermixes voice traffic and DSL traffic onto a customer's DSL line. It also separates incoming phone and data signals and directs them onto the appropriate carrier's network.
