OPICOM Company, Ltd. of South Korea has agreed to integrate the V5.2 interface into ANDA Networks' gateway platform bringing voice over digital subscriber line (VoDSL) functionality to ANDA Networks' offerings. In a recent study Cahners In-Stat reported that VoDSL gives service carriers the opportunity to offer bundled high-speed data and voice services that can supply multiple lines to customers. The survey found that 60% of respondents would prefer to have all of their communications services bundled and sold by one provider. The Cahners In-Stat report also commented that packetizing voice over DSL has the potential to become a "killer application" for DSL.(1)
