, Wis. -- Electrical Contracting Products magazine, the product information authority for decision-makers at the nation's leading electrical contracting firms, announces its 2006 Electrical Contracting Products INNOVATION Award Winners. The prestigious program recognizes outstanding companies whose products or services have best responded to electrical contractors' market challenges by offering creative and innovative ideas. Fifteen winners were chosen out of 120 product finalists announced in August.

"The key to doing a job well is to have the right tools," says Editor John Filippelli. "The winners of these awards were chosen by electrical contractors who use these products which make this honor even more substantial."

Divided into 15 product categories, the 2006 Electrical Contracting Products INNOVATION Awards were judged by a distinguished panel of professional electrical contractors from across the nation who evaluated each on six criteria:

* Innovation

* Ease of use

* Cost effectiveness

* Quality contribution

* Maintainability

* Productivity improvements

In ceremonies held today at the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA NECA National Electrical Contractors Association

) Trade Show in Boston, winners were presented with crystal awards recognizing their achievements in meeting the needs of the $82 billion electrical contracting market. The winners will be showcased in the November issue of Electrical Contracting Products and featured on www.ECPZONE.com.
