 captured the Best Country Song and Best Male Country Vocal awards for "Go Rest High on That Mountain," which he wrote for his brother, Bob, who died of a heart attack three years ago.

The song combines the spiritual quality of mountain church music with Gill's trademark solid, pop-country vocals. "I just wanted to find a way to hope he was in a better place and say goodbye," Gill explained.
