ANADIGICS, a leading supplier of wireless and broadband communications products, has announced the shipment of its first high-efficiency HBT (hetero-junction bipolar transistor) power amplifier samples to major wireless handset manufacturers. Operating from a single 3-Volt supply, these HBT power amplifier products provide linear operation for digital wireless standards. Using advanced module technology, the power amplifiers integrate all necessary passive components for full compensation and 50 Ohm input/output matching.
