ANADIGICS Recieves High Volume Production Order for RF Switches From Leading Wireless Handset OEM.

ANADIGICS, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANAD), a leading supplier of wireless and broadband communications solutions, today announced that it has received a high volume production order for radio frequency (RF) switches from a major manufacturer of wireless handsets.

ANADIGICS' AWS5504 and AWS5518 RF switches were selected because they provide the high linearity, low loss and cost required by today's mobile phone designs.

The AWS5518 and AWS5504 switches are GaAs MMICs that can provide transmit/receive switching, diversity switching and antenna selection applications in multi-mode, multi-band cellular handsets. Operating across -3.5v to +2.75v, the ASW5504 offers an IP3 of 48dBm, a low insertion loss of 0.4dB, and has a low DC power consumption.
