 Gallery in the Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle, on Saturday and runs until June 21.

It features small paintings inspired by a recent six-month residency in Japan funded by the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation, the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation and Arts Council England Arts Council England was formed in 1994 when the Arts Council of Great Britain was divided into three separate bodies for England, Scotland and Wales. It is an Executive Agency of the Department of Culture, Media and Sport. . The paintings, says the artist, challenge the viewer's perception of reality. See www.kitkinsbury.co.uk.
