AMX Introduces New 6'' and 4'' Touch Panels Solutions; Panels Ideally Suited for Automation Market.

AMX (Nasdaq:AMXC) announces a tabletop accessory for its popular 6" color video panel and has created a new 4" panel with enhanced control capabilities. The 6" panel Table Top accessory kit was based on dealer requests for a tabletop version of the existing 6" wall-mounted panel. Uses for the panel include security monitoring and integrations with internal cameras to monitor an infant in the home. The panel is available in the signature platinum and dark gray color.

The new 4" Touch Panel was designed specifically to make it easy for the user to automate their audio, video, communications and environmental surroundings. The sleek wall-mount touch panel can be placed in multiple rooms throughout the home, providing more complete home automation. The panel, which has programmable external buttons, features a smart sensor allowing the panel to "wake up" when motion is detected. It has a light sensor that can adjust LCD brightness. A microphone and speakers are included to enable room-to-room communication, which is ideal for larger homes. In addition, an infrared receiver on the panel enables users to control the panel through an AMX remote without having to move from their seat.

Look for the re-designed 6" and 4" panels in use at the AMX booth, No. 150, during CEDIA Expo in Minneapolis on Sept. 27-29.
