AMX Appoints Maggie McGinn Director of Synergy Training.DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1999-- AMX AMX - Aeromexico Aerovias de Mexico (ICAO code) AMX - Air Mobility Express AMX - Alabama Motor eXpress AMX - Amberjacks (FAO fish species code) AMX - American Motors Experimental AMX - Analog Multiplexing (theatrical lighting) AMX - Automatic Message Exchange Corporation (Nasdaq:AMXX) announced that it has appointed Maggie McGinn as the director of training for Synergy, AMX's media resource management product. In this new and critical position, Maggie will continue reporting to Victor Hobbs, Vice President of the AMX Synergy Business Unit, and be responsible for all dealer training, supervising Synergy regional managers in their end-user training, and coordinating with the AMX Training Department on "integrated" courses. In addition, Maggie will work with the marketing and technical publication departments in the design and production of training manuals, user manuals, and application sheets. "I'm looking forward to the challenge of organizing Synergy training and linking that with its support publications," states Maggie. "Training has formed part of what I've been doing in my sales responsibilities for years, but this new position frees me up to focus completely on the task. Synergy M3 offers our customers unmatched flexibility in their system design, and it's important that they are familiar with all of the capabilities offered by this new product. Synergy Dealers are required to re-qualify to sell M3, and my goal is to ensure that all Synergy training, whether offered by regional managers, dealers, or the factory, is consistent and complete." M3 has been deployed at beta sites since August 1998, and in April 1999 was publicly launched at the NAB show in Las Vegas. Field tested at Volusia County Schools' Instructional Television Center in Daytona Beach, Fla. and the University of Akron in Ohio, M3 sets the standard for media resource management systems in commercial and educational applications.
