AMWA Awards Westin Engineering Contract to Build and Operate Water Information Sharing and Analysis Center --WaterISAC--.

The Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies (AMWA AMWA American Medical Women's Association; American Medical Writers' Association. ) has awarded a contract to a team led by Westin Engineering, Inc. to develop and operate the Water Information Sharing See data conferencing.  and Analysis Center (WaterISAC). The team also includes HDR (1) (High Data Rate) A wireless data technology from QUALCOMM that provides up to a 2.4 Mbps data rate in a standard 1.25MHz CDMA voice channel. This will ensure the security of the sensitive information in this repository. AMWA and the Westin team will launch the WaterISAC in December 2002.
