AMVAC Chemical Corporation, Newport Beach, Calif., names Bill
Jacobs as Midwest region manager. Jacobs will oversee regional sales
representatives and work with distributors serving the Midwest. During
his more than 25 years in the agricultural industry, Jacobs has worked
as a regional sales representative, district sales manager, herbicide
product manager and North American sales manager for various companies,
including Shell Chemical Co., Stauffer Chemical Co., ICI Americas and
UCB Chemicals, which is now part of Taminco.
