AMTDA members can self-update info online. (News & Analysis).

The American Machine Tool Distributors' Association (www.amtda.org) has selected Techspex (www.techspex.com) to implement an Internet-based data entry platform for the collection and maintenance of AMTDA member directory information. Data collected in the platform will be used by AMTDA to publish its annual printed member directory.

Information features distributor and associate member listings and includes head office; subsidiary and branch locations; phone and fax numbers; web site and e-mail addresses See Internet address.

The partnership is intended to broaden member visibility in the marketplace and give AMTDA members secure, password-protected 24/7 access for updating company information. The Techspex data entry platform does double duty as information will also update the Techspex Machine Tool Database.

Techspex offers potential buyers of metalworking machines, equipment, and accessories an opportunity to research in more than 20 different database categories of machine tools, accessories, software, controls, and suppliers.
