AMS has partnered with QinetiQ on two related maritime applied research programmes. The activities are to be run as parallel programmes. The Advanced Integration and Management of Maritime Sensors is a five million [pounds sterling] programme intended to identify, evaluate and demonstrate advanced multi-sensor fusion techniques. The Combat System Integration, Interoperability and Performance programme is focused on providing improved situational awareness and command and control functions to the overall combat system.
