AMS Health Sciences Reports 42 Percent Increase in December Sales Associate Recruiting.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- New Sales Associates Totaled 1,076 vs. 759 in November, New Customers Totaled 7,037 vs. 9,828 in November

AMS Health Sciences, Inc. (AMEX:AMM) today announced December month-end results of its customer acquisition program, totaling 8,113 new associates and preferred customers. AMS Health Sciences has increasingly focused on expanding its base of new associates, who are geared to generate increased sales and customers for the Company. As a result, new sales associate autoships totaled 1,076, a 42% increase over November new sales associate autoships of 759. Customer acquisition autoships declined in December by 28% to 7,037 from 9,828 in November.

Since launching the new customer acquisition campaign on March 6, 2004, new sales associates and preferred customers have been added as follows: 3,516 in March; 3,732 in April; 4,778 in May; 5,143 in June; 6,522 in July; 8,751 in August, 10,227 in September, 13,592 in October, 10,587 in November; and 8,113 in December. These compare favorably to fiscal year 2003 additions of 979 in March; 997 in April; 1,005 in May; 969 in June; 1,147 in July; 1,318 in August, 1,097 in September, 968 in October, 669 in November and 698 in December. Total sales for December were approximately $1.4 million.

David D'Arcangelo, AMS Health Sciences President, commented, "Adding new sales associates is the key to generating larger numbers of autoship customers and revenues in 2005. We have put an extra focus on recruiting and it has paid off consistently and particularly in the generally slow December holiday season. On Dec. 10, 2004, we launched our most aggressive sales associate recruiting program that allows FREE Trial customers to become sales associates for free by simply adding their social security number to the application and immediately joining our '72 Hour Getting Started Training.' Now the FREE Trial customer acquisition program becomes the front end driver for sales recruiting which leads to better persistency and retention of monthly recurring product auto-ships. New customer autoships were down from November levels, due in part to retail customers' focus on the holidays and a fewer number of actual work days in the month due to holidays. Within two weeks we expect our sales associates will be close to full strength and back on an aggressive customer acquisition campaign."
