AMS Appoints Hugh Anderson as Director of Interface and Integration Solutions.

AMS Services, Inc. announced that Hugh Anderson has joined the organization as Director, Interface and Integration Solutions Group (formerly known as the EDI group) effective December 9, 2002.

John Day, senior vice president, AMS carrier and industry relations, commented on the new appointment, "AMS has been placing great emphasis on the development of new electronic interface capabilities, and enhancing carrier and industry relationships. Anderson comes to AMS after 25 years of diverse business and technology experience with The Hartford. For over 19 of those years, he provided leadership in the development of e-business technology solutions for agents and brokers. He has also been an acknowledged leader in strategic industry initiatives, including all aspects of ACORD standards development, and the development of a vision for the future of agency technology developed by the IIABA's Agents' Council for Technology.

At AMS, Anderson will play a major role in carrier and industry relations as well as lead the day-to-day operations of the Interface and Integration Solutions Group. Anderson will report directly to John Day.
