AMS Appoints Eric W. Januszko as Executive Vice President & CIO.

SAN DIEGO -- Advanced Marketing Services, Inc. (AMS), (Pink Sheets:MKTS), a leading global provider of customized wholesale and distribution services to book retailers and publishers, today announced the appointment of Eric W. Januszko as AMS' Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

Mr. Januszko is responsible for all global information technology activities at AMS, with an emphasis on strategically aligning all information technology and communications activities with business objectives.

Mr. Januszko spent the past five years as Vice President of Information Systems at Accelrys, Inc., and prior to that was with Valor Electronics and SAIC. He holds a B.S. in Information Systems from the University of Redlands.
