AMR and EmCare are wholly owned subsidiaries of EMSC L.P., an emergency management company held by the investment firm Onex. The LifeCom facility is one of only two privately operated emergency EMS and Fire dispatching centers operated in Northern California, the second being AMR's RedCom Center in Sonoma County, Calif.

"AMR is pleased that JRUG has chosen LifeCom to provide all of their dispatching needs and we look forward to working with our EMS partners long into the future," said Brad White, AMR Regional Vice President of Operations.

The facility now provides dispatch services for 21 agencies, including AMR, JRUG and seven other private ambulance providers throughout San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties. Managing thousands of emergency calls each month, LifeCom is considered by many in the emergency medical services industry as one of the most advanced emergency dispatch centers in California. The center has 40 employees, each of whom is accredited accredited

recognition by an appropriate authority that the performance of a particular institution has satisfied a prestated set of criteria.
