The Avetikyans already have moved into an apartment but were allowed by real estate agents Cindy and Michael Libonati to keep the dogs in their old house until it is reoccupied. However, it appears the house will be needed soon, and a new home has not yet been found for the dogs, who the owners want to keep together. ``These dogs have been traumatized, and they can't be separated from each other,'' Cindy Libonati said. ``The owners say they won't last apart.'' Brandon said the dogs are about 7 years old and very attached to one another. ``When Rondik was in the hospital, the Dalmatian was very sad all the time,'' she said. ``The dog cried the whole time.'' Rondik was shot twice Sept. 16 by SWAT officers who were searching back yards for suspects in an attempted robbery of a Great Western Bank branch in Van Nuys. Officers said the dog attacked them.
