AMNEX announces 1+ coin activation schedule Bell Atlantic on-line.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 1995--AMNEX INC. (NASDAQ SYMBOL: AMXI) today announced that it has completed the deployment of its 1+ coin network facilities in the following areas within the Bell Atlantic region; the entire state of New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington DC and metro area, Baltimore, and Scranton.

In addition to the network installation, actual traffic on line within Bell Atlantic exceeds 100,000 minutes per month with significant increases being added daily.

In the NYNEX region, a successful test of the 1+ coin services has been completed. An aggressive conversion plan is scheduled which will result in 90% of the NYNEX region being in service by mid-January, 1996, with the so-called Downsate LATA (NYC, Long Island and parts of Westchester) in service by year end 1995. This will represent approximately 80% of the company's LEC phone base.

In addition, significant testing has commenced in the BellSouth, Ameritech and Southwestern Bell regions. Expected activation within these regions should be completed within the first few months of 1996.
