AML Communications Receives Purchase Order for Telecommunications Equipment Valued At $800,000; Sees New Interest in 3.5 GHZ Products.

CAMARILLO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 2000

AML AML - A Manufacturing Language  Communications Inc. (Nasdaq:AMLJ) today announced it has received a purchase order from a leading wireless system OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  for amplifiers valued at approximately $800,000. Initial deliveries are scheduled to begin in the company's third quarter of this fiscal year.

The 56-watt ultra compact, single-carrier amplifiers for base station and repeater applications will be utilized to support the OEM's mobile voice and data transmission system.

Additionally, he noted the rapidly changing wireless marketplace has created numerous new opportunities for products designed for other telecommunications applications, specifically a renewed interest in AML's 3.5 GHZ frequency amplifiers that were initially developed for Wireless Local Loop (WLL See wireless local loop and PHS-WLL. ) applications.
