AML Communications Completes Acquisition of Controlling Interest in Mica-Tech.

:AMLJ) announced today that it completed the acquisition of a controlling position in Mica-Tech, Inc., in a cash-for-stock transaction. Under the terms of the agreement, AML purchased 51% of Mica-Tech's outstanding stock for $800,000.

Mica-Tech, Inc., designs, manufactures, and markets an intelligent satellite communication system to provide Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (application) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition - (SCADA) Systems are used in industry to monitor and control plant status and provide logging facilities. SCADA systems are highly configurable, and usually interface to the plant via PLCs.  (SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) A process control application that collects data from sensors and machines on the shop floor or in remote locations and sends them to a central computer for management and control. ) of the electric power grid.
