AMISYS To Incorporate AXIOM Products During Transition to New Platform; Interface Solution And HIPAA-enabled Product to Enhance AMISYS Advance.

AMISYS, LLC, a provider of payer solutions to the health care industry, has selected AXIOM Systems Inc.'s AXIS and RDE2 products to aid in its transition to the AMISYS Advance product.

AMISYS will transition AMISYS 3000 to the HP-UX operating system by June 2003 and will utilize AXIS to convert its database to HP-UX. AMISYS Advance will provide the same robust functionality as the 3000 product suite.

AXIS is a powerful client server, health-care-focused application that is able to handle intense imports, exports, conversions and archiving of data. It is able to perform those tasks from different sources, to different targets and run at scheduled times or on demand. It has an easy-to-use interface with the ability to group multiple tasks together and run in series.

RDE2 to assist customers in preparing systems for HIPAA enablement

In addition, AXIOM's RDE2 product will assist AMISYS customers in their Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) enablement efforts through the claims processing cycle. RDE2 is a customizable tool that manages HIPAA transactions with minimal disruption to the claims adjudication process. It is able to create, receive, authenticate and send HIPAA transactions. RDE2 is compatible with all AMISYS 3000 and Advance product releases and has already been introduced in the marketplace.
