, a leading provider of payer solutions for the healthcare industry, announced today the on-time general availability of AMISYS 3000 Release 11.01 - the final major release of the AMISYS 3000 product line specifically for the HP e3000 platform.

AMISYS 3000 Release 11.01 focuses primarily on enhancements to Release 11.0 with new functionality to address the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996, Public Law 104-191) Also known as the "Kennedy-Kassebaum Act," this U.S. law protects employees' health insurance coverage when they change or lose their jobs (Title I) and provides standards for patient health,  privacy regulations. This software release contains additional functionality to further enable processing of HIPAA transactions and provides greater integration with other applications.
