AMISYS Now Authorized to Resell HP-UX Servers and Support.

AMISYS LLC, a Platinum Equity company that provides payer solutions to the health care industry, has been designated a Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE:HPQ) business development partner for HP-UX servers and support.

AMISYS received this recognition as part of HP's partnerONE Program. The program is designed to provide the best business solutions to customers. To qualify for partnerONE status, AMISYS is required to develop and manufacture a substantial amount of proprietary software for a specific vertical market. The software must represent a significant functional enhancement to HP products and must solve a major application need.

PartnerONE helps HP business partners make money and grow their business, while reducing costs. PartnerONE is built upon three principles: integrated infrastructure (making it easy to work with HP), demand centric focus (providing demand creation tools and deep collaborative planning) and dynamic partnering (recognizing that business development partners sell across the HP portfolio and use different selling motions).

As a business development partner, AMISYS is able to help customers evaluate hardware needs and deliver a customized solution to best meet their needs. In addition, AMISYS has access to HP sales and support contact information, free technical support, discounts on demonstration units, education rebates and sales leads and referrals.

By June 2003, AMISYS will transition its AMISYS 3000 product to the HP-UX operating system and offer a new product called AMISYS Advance. AMISYS Advance will provide the same robust functionality of the AMISYS 3000 product suite, with enhancements planned for future versions. All existing interfaces maintained by AMISYS, including the HIPAA MAXIM and AMISYS Web Exchange products, will be available in AMISYS Advance.
