AMISYS LLC, a leading provider of payer applications to the health care industry, today announced the general availability of AMISYS C/S Release 7.0, which offers several significant enhancements to previous versions of the product.

Among the new capabilities offered in Release 7.0 is an enrollment module that:

-- Increases HIPAA readiness;

-- Streamlines main member enrollment;

-- Supports different plan coverage for each family member; and

-- Restructures the functionality of batch enrollment imports.

AMISYS C/S is a cost-effective health care payer information management solution that supports HMOs, provider-based payers, employers, unions and carve-out entities. Its applications help health care payers control their financial exposure while focusing on effective health care management.

In addition to the enrollment module enhancements, AMISYS C/S offers a new customer service module that supports call logging, workflow routing and call history. It provides integrated access to other system modules, including enrollment, claims, utilization management, premium billing, provider contracts, benefits plans and provider modules.

The premium billing module has been redesigned to include, individual billing, partial month billing, long and short-term disability billing, COBRA and enhanced payment posting.
