AMIS Holdings, Inc. Announces David Rickey's Plan to Resign as Director.

POCATELLO, Idaho -- AMIS Holdings, Inc. ("AMIS" or "Company") (Nasdaq:AMIS), parent company of AMI Semiconductor, a leader in the design and manufacture of integrated mixed-signal solutions, today announced that David Rickey has notified the Company of his intention to resign as director in 2005 for personal reasons. Mr. Rickey, who also recently announced his intention to retire as Chief Executive and Chairman of Applied Micro Circuits Corporation, joined the board of directors of the Company in 2001. The board of directors has commenced a search for his successor.
