), a leading designer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art integrated mixed-signal and structured digital products for the automotive, medical and industrial markets, has announced that it will be organising the 16th annual Advances in Analogue Circuit Design (AACD) Workshop in Belgium.

Providing a forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest analogue and RF IC developments and techniques, the annual workshop began life in 1992 and has become a major event in the calendar of Europe's analogue and RF designers. The 2007 event, in which AMI Semiconductor's Communication High Voltage Product Line will play a key role, will take place from 27th to 29th of March in Ostend.

As part of the company's involvement, AMIS Fellows Herman Casier and Jan Sevenhans are involved in event organization including input into the technical program. This three-day program will feature 18 speakers covering silicon research topics such as analogue technologies for automotive and industrial environments, very high frequency front ends, and integrated PAs.
