AMI DODUCO Signs Leading Asian Sales Representative.

PFORZHEIM, GERMANY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2001

AMI DODUCO has signed ATOP International Ltd., a leading Asian sales agency, to expand its sales of electrical contact Noun 1. electrical contact - contact that allows current to pass from one conductor to another

ATOP, founded in 1999, is headquartered in Fo Fan, New Territories (NT), Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov.  and has an office in the Shenzen Special Economic Zone. The agency will represent AMI DODUCO's entire line of products in Guangdong Province, including the Shenzen and Hong Kong and its electrical contact products in Taiwan.

AMI DODUCO acquired a local electrical contact manufacturing operation in Tianjin, China in late-1999. This facility has been extensively upgraded and now produces a wide-range of electrical contact materials and parts for electrical equipment manufacturers in East Asia as well as domestic Chinese manufacturers.
