Business Editors/High-Tech Writers

EXPORT, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 29, 2003

AMI DODUCO, a Technitrol company (NYSE:TNL), announced that it has hired OEM Components Sales to represent the business in the Maquiladora region of Mexico.

"As our customers increasingly expand into the U.S. - Mexico border region, the timing was appropriate to increase our coverage there," said Albert Thorp, III, President of AMI Doduco. "We chose OEM for its experience with and knowledge of key customers, and we're confident that this arrangement will help us maintain prosperous, long-term customer relationships."

Established in 1977, OEM represents mechanical, electro-mechanical and electronic product lines from companies engaged in metal stamping, machining, die casting, metal injection molding and printed circuit board assembly. The agency also offers automated and semi-automated subassembly manufacturing.

"We are pleased to represent an industry leader like AMI Doduco, and excited about the global manufacturing capabilities they have to offer to the Maquiladora customer base."

Headquartered in Export, Pennsylvania, AMI DODUCO is a global leader in electrical contact technology and fabrication.
