AMFM Names Thomas Mooney Market Controller for Its Minneapolis/St. Paul Station Group.

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, Minn. and DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--November 23, 1999--

AMFM Inc.(NYSE: AFM) named Thomas Mooney, 40, to the newly created position of Market Controller for its Minneapolis/St. Paul station group, it was announced today by Mick Anselmo, Market Executive Vice President. The appointment is effective immediately.

Mr. Mooney will be responsible for managing the financial accounting and reporting functions for the market including strategic analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

Mr. Mooney joined AMFM in January 1997 following AMFM's acquisition of KQQL-FM and WLOL-FM (formerly WRQC-FM) from Colfax Communication where he served as Group Controller for Colfax's Minneapolis, Washington D.C. and Phoenix station groups. From 1981 through 1992, Mr. Mooney served as Controller/Chief Financial Officer for a retail grocer in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. A St. Paul native, Mr. Mooney received Accounting and Economics degree from the University of Minnesota and earned his CPA in 1984.
