AMFM Inc. (NYSE: AFM) today announced that it has restructured the market responsibilities for Steve Smith and Tom Poleman who presently serve as Senior Vice Presidents of Programming. Effective immediately, Mr. Smith will serve as Executive Vice President Programming Western Operations while Tom Poleman will serve as Senior Vice President Programming Eastern Operations.

The appointments reflect the ongoing implementation of the Company's national radio division market strategy, instituted over the past year, focusing on building a deep, broad management team in the areas of operations, sales, programming, marketing and development.

In his new position, Mr. Smith will oversee the programming aspects of all AMFM properties in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Minneapolis and Riverside. Other principal responsibilities will include creating and expanding, on a national basis, AMFM talent and formats, such as AMFM's Jammin' Oldies and Rockin' Hits, for syndication.

Mr. Poleman's responsibilities will now include oversight of programming for the New York, Washington DC, Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit and Boston markets and he will continue in his current role as Program Director of WHTZ-FM `Z100' in New York.
