Dear AMFA Members at United Airlines:

The National Mediation Board's Representational Election has concluded at United Airlines (UAL). The result is that the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Teamsters

AMFA will always support the right of workers to choose and we wish our departing membership at UAL the best of luck with their new direction. The Teamsters have made many promises and guarantees of results due to their size, power, and resources. The campaign is over and it is now time to see the Teamsters turn their promises into action.

AMFA extends our appreciation to the members, representatives, and officers who have worked relentlessly since 2003 for their peers at UAL. The UAL membership can be proud of the many challenges that were met head on and the accomplishments you all took part in during a historic period of turmoil in the airline industry.

AMFA will continue our 45 year quest to create the largest and most effective craft union for aviation mechanic and related workers. To our former United Airline members, we wish you well and hope that the Teamsters live up to your expectations. Stay safe and look out for each other.

Respectfully,

Steve MacFarlane
