 14644-1. The European standard means that AMF complies with stringent particle emission tests.

To reach the required ISO class 4 clean room standard an environment must have no more that ten particles of 0.5[micro]m per cubic foot.

That is equivalent to the size of a pinhead compared to the area of a football pitch. Considering a normal room contains one-to-five million particles per cubic foot. acquiring clean room status is an impressive accomplishment.
