Burke William Joseph Burke (September 25, 1862 - November 7, 1925) was an American politician and businessman. He was born in London, England of Irish parents. Mr. Burke previously served as Vice President - Investor and Corporate Relations since 1999. Frank S. Mr. Burke joined AMETEK in 1987 as a Financial Analyst and served as Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer beginning in 1988. He was promoted to Assistant Division Controller of U.S. Gauge in 1990. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Burke worked in operations, playing key roles at U.S. Gauge and in the start up of the Binghamton, NY, manufacturing facility for AMETEK Aerospace. He was promoted to Division Vice President of Finance for U.S. Gauge in 1995. In January 1999 Mr. Burke was named Division Vice President of U.S. Gauge's Electronic Sensors Business Unit, a position he held until his promotion to Vice President - Investor and Corporate Relations in August 1999. Mr. Burke holds a BS in Business Management from Boston College Boston College, main campus at Chestnut Hill, Mass.; coeducational; Jesuit; est. and opened 1863.
