AMETEK Names Alan Devenish Vice President and General Manager of AMETEK Materials Analysis Division.PAOLI, Pa. -- AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :AME) today announced the appointment of Mr. Alan Devenish as Vice President and General Manager of AMETEK Materials Analysis Division. Mr. Devenish previously served as Division Vice President of AMETEK's EDAX EDAX Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy Business Unit since its acquisition in June, 2001. Mr. Hermance commented, "I am pleased to announce Alan's promotion to Vice President and General Manager of our newly formed Materials Analysis Division. Mr. Devenish has held a variety of sales, marketing, and general management positions since joining EDAX twenty three years ago. In 1990 Mr. Devenish was named Sales and Marketing Manager of EDAX and in 1996 was named General Manager.
