 AMERISCRIBE NAMES MARK IMPERIALE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
 NEW YORK, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Ameriscribe Corporation


(NYSE: ACR), a leading provider of reprographic and mailroom facilities management services, announced today that Mark F. Imperiale has been named vice president and chief financial officer. He will also hold the concurrent positions of executive vice president and chief financial officer of the company's operating subsidiary, Ameriscribe Management Services.
 Imperiale, age 41, was most recently senior vice president and controller for broker-dealer operations at Prudential Securities. Between 1989 and 1991, he was chief financial and administrative officer of Tritech Services, a provider of proxy, printing mail and other document management services. He was one of the founders of Tritech, an entity created from several internal operations and facilities management divisions of Merrill Lynch, which he helped reorganize as a profit center serving Merrill Lynch and outside clients.
 From 1987 to 1989, Imperiale was vice president of strategic financial planning in Merrill Lynch's operations systems and telecommunications area. He previously held vice president positions in the finance and auditing areas at the First Boston Corporation from 1983 to 1987. Imperiale began his professional career at the accounting firm of Ernst & Young in 1973.
 Ameriscribe's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Allan R.  Imperiale will succeed John R. Owen, who has left to pursue other opportunities.
 A New Jersey resident, Imperiale holds a B.A. degree from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in Accounting from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Business. He is a certified public accountant.
