AMERICOM GOVERNMENT SERVICES, Inc. (AGS AGS American Geriatrics Society. ), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SES AMERICOM SES Americom is a major commercial satellite operator based in the United States. Formerly RCA Americom and GE Americom the company is now (with SES Astra and SES New Skies) one of the principal parts of SES S.A.. , announced today it was awarded a contract with the Federal Bureau of Investigations Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), division of the U.S. Dept. of Justice charged with investigating all violations of federal laws except those assigned to some other federal agency.  (FBI) through AGS' federal GSA (1) (Global mobile Suppliers Association, Sawbridgeworth, U.K., www.gsacom.com) A membership organization of suppliers of GSM products and services. AGS' solution for the FBI will include leased satellite capacity for a data communications network, which connects the agency's numerous sites across all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

AGS' GSA schedule allows federal agencies to purchase satellite capacity on select spacecraft and up/down link services. The schedule also includes expert and regulatory support related to AGS SATCOM solutions, as well as the necessary engineering and consulting services such as network development and project implementation.
