 NEW YORK, June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Prices on the American Stock


Exchange closed mixed today in moderate trading. The Amex Market Value Index closed up 1.12 to 376.74. Declines led advances 265 to 247 with 240 issues unchanged. The average price per share rose three cents.
 Stock volume for the regular session totaled 11,287,510 shares, up from the 9,398,970 shares traded yesterday. After-Hours volume totaled zero shares, bringing the cumulative volume for today to 11,287,510 shares.
 Topping the most active list was Turner Broadcasting Systems, Class B, unchanged at 19 1/4 on 653,100 shares, followed by Washington Real Estate Investment Trust, down 1/8 to 16 7/8 on 520,600 shares. The third most active issue, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company was up 1 1/4 to 36 5/8 on 372,200 shares.

 Today's volume in the Emerging Company Marketplace (ECM) totaled 151,800 shares. The most actively traded stock on the ECM was Intertel Communications Inc. unchanged at 1 5/16 on 61,400 shares.
 Trading in options was moderate today with 169,641 contracts changing hands as compared with 169,830 contracts traded yesterday. Calls were higher as puts traded lower.
 Topping the most active list in puts was the Disney July 35 series, up 3/8 to 1 1/8 on 2,612 contracts, followed by the Disney August 35 series, up 3/4 to 1 7/8 on 2,192 contracts. The third most active was the XMI Leaps December 30 series down 1/16 to 15/16 on 2,000 contracts.
 Topping the most active list in calls was the Intel Corp. July 55 series, up 1/8 to 2 on 5,417 contracts, followed by the Pfizer Corp. September 85 series up 1/16 to 5/16 on 3,990 contracts. The third most active was the Unum Corp. September 45 series, up 1/16 to 3/8 on 3,110 contracts.
