 NEW YORK, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Prices on the American Stock


Exchange closed mixed today in very active trading. The Amex Market Value Index closed down 0.27 to 415.14. Advances led declines 337 to 271 with 236 issues unchanged. The average price per share fell one cent.
 Stock volume for the regular session totaled 16,747,575 shares, down from the 22,393,240 shares traded Friday. After-hours volume totaled 100 shares, bringing the cumulative volume for today to 16,747,675 shares.
 There were 178 block trades, while 222 blocks were traded in the previous trading session.
 Topping the most active list was Go-Video, Inc., up 1-1/4 to 4 on 845,800 shares, followed by U.S. Bioscience, down 1-1/4 to 15-3/4 on 836,600 shares. The third most active issue, U.S. Alcohol Testing of America was down 1-7/8 to 9-1/2 on 514,000 shares.

 Trading in options was light today with 151,442 contracts changing hands as compared with 195,228 contracts traded Friday. Calls and puts both traded lower.
 Topping the most active list in puts was the Glaxo May 30 series, down 3/16 to 2-1/16 on 4,689 contracts, followed by the Philip Morris Feb. 75 series, up 3/16 to 1-1/4 on 1,611 contracts. The third most active was the Amgen Feb. 65 series up 7/16 to 1-1/2 on 911 contracts.
 Topping the most active list in calls was the Glaxo May 30 series, up 1/8 to 2-3/4 on 4,507 contracts, followed by the Unisys Apr. 10 series up 1/2 to 15/16 on 2,312 contracts. The third most active was the Unisys Apr. 7 1/2 series, up 15/16 to 2-3/16 on 1,766 contracts.
 AMEX Index Options closed as follows:
