 WHEN: Monday, Feb. 10, 10 a.m.
 Top executives from six major mining and mining equipment manufacturing companies will present the 1992 economic outlook for the mining industry at the American Mining Congress (AMC) Annual Members Meeting. Also featured will be an address by Interior Secretary Manuel Lujan and a luncheon address by Andrei Kolosovskiy, Charge d'Affaires of the Russian Federation.
 Outlooks will be offered for agricultural and industrial minerals, coal, aluminum, copper, iron ore, precious metals and the mining and mineral processing equipment industry.
 Participating executives include AMC Chairman Milton H. Ward, president and chief operating officer, Freeport-McMoRan Inc.; Allen Born, chairman, CEO and president, Amax Inc.; Richard de J. Osborne, chairman, CEO and president, Asarco Incorporated; M. Thomas Moore, chairman and CEO, Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.; Gordon R. Parker, chairman, CEO and president, Newmont Mining Company; and William G. Mulligan, executive vice president, Ingersoll-Rand Company.
 Other functions at the meeting include a 9:30 a.m. address by Lujan, who is expected to discuss his department's initiatives as they relate to President Bush's State of the Union speech and his budget proposals.
 The members luncheon will feature Kolosovskiy, who is expected to provide an update on developments in the Russian Federation and his perceptions on the interaction between U.S. and Russian mining and mining equipment manufacturing industries.
 The American Mining Congress is the principal trade association of the mining industry in the United States.
