No terms were given.

Established in 1989, Haslam produces six research--related publications dealing with information on civil trials and verdicts, jury awards and out-of-court settlements, as well as related research and trend data and listings of expert witnesses. ALM said it will also acquire Haslam's research services business, which develops customized data for trial attorneys, and Haslam's electronic publishing An umbrella term for non-paper publishing, which includes publishing online or on media such as CDs and DVDs.  operations and databases, including detailed information on more than 40,000 California cases.

Haslam's print publications include Jury Verdicts Weekly, Verdictum Juris, Tri-Service, Trial Trends, Confidential Reports for Attorneys and The Legal Expert Pages. Editorial for newsletters and reports is gathered through public record research and interviews with trial attorneys.

ALM said that Haslam's operations will be merged with its Jury Verdict Division and that data will available at the division's Web site, verdictresearch.com. The site, currently being redesigned, will carry over 115,000 jury verdict reports from New York Jury Verdict Reporter, Judicial Review of Damages, Texas Blue Sheet, California Jury Verdict Weekly and Illinois Trial Reporter.

American Lawyer Media has also acquired two trade shows in the U.K., including "Solicitors, the national Legal Office and Legal Services legal services n. the work performed by a lawyer for a client.  Exhibition" and the "National Accountancy Exhibition."
