 AMERICAN AIRLINES REPORTS AUGUST TRAFFIC
DALLAS, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines recorded the

Domestic RPMs jumped 24.8 percent over August 1991, from 6.3 billion to 7.9 billion. The traffic surge was due to the 50 percent fare promotion which expires Sept. 13.
