The Aztek was the first crossover SUV offered from General Motors. , slammed by critics for its ungainly appearance, fared well, winning the top spot in the entry SUV category. Owners praised its unusual features, power, ride and stereo.

The study, now in its sixth year, is based on responses from more than 110,000 new-vehicle owners and measures what excites and delights them about their vehicles' features and design.

Toyota took home high marks for its Sequoia sport utility vehicle, Tacoma compact pickup, and midsize Avalon sedan Sedan (sədäN`), town (1990 pop. 22,407), Ardennes dept., NE France, on the Meuse River.
