AMDL, Inc., headquartered in Tustin, CA, is the inventor and developer of the DR-70 cancer test, a non-invasive blood test, which has demonstrated its ability to detect the presence in humans of up to 13 cancers simultaneously 84 percent of the time overall. DR-70 is made available to U.S. physicians and laboratories through a "research use only" labeling exemption. Clinical trials have been conducted in China, Canada, Taiwan and Turkey. Cancers that can be detected by the test are lung, colon, breast, stomach, liver, rectum, ovary ovary, ductless gland of the female in which the ova (female reproductive cells) are produced. In vertebrate animals the ovary also secretes the sex hormones estrogen and progesterone, which control the development of the sexual organs and the secondary sexual , cervix, esophagus, thyroid, pancreas, trophoblast trophoblast /tro·pho·blast/ (tro´fo-blast) the peripheral cells of the blastocyst, which attach the blastocyst to the uterine wall and become the placenta and the membranes that nourish and protect the developing organism.  and malignant lymphoma. DR-70 is a non-invasive test that can detect cancer in these various organs using a single tube of blood.
