SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 1995--Mr. Ed Fudge will spearhead EIS (1) (Executive Information System) An information system that consolidates and summarizes ongoing transactions within the organization. It provides top management with all the information it requires at all times from internal and external sources.  sales operations for North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. . He has more than 10 years of successful sales and management experience with Amdahl.

Prior to his new position, Mr. Fudge was responsible within Amdahl for EIS in Canada and the U.S. Midwest. He developed highly skilled and motivated teams to achieve groundbreaking sales of early releases of Amdahl's Huron ObjectStar applications development product. One early customer was the Canadian Federal Government (the EIS team successfully delivered one of the Federal Government's most ambitious information technology (IT) programs).

In previous positions with Amdahl, Mr. Fudge was responsible for all sales in Canada as vice president, sales and marketing, Amdahl Canada Limited. In this role, he represented Amdahl mainframes and other large-system products to the senior Canadian business Canadian Business is the longest-publishing business magazine in Canada. Before joining Amdahl, he managed a large branch within Enterprise Systems, IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  Canada.
