:AMD) has introduced the new low-power mobile AMD Athlon XP-M processor 2100+ for thin and light notebooks in mainstream and value markets. Like existing AMD mobile processors, this new low-power offering is designed to provide excellent computing computing - computer  performance on the go, extended system battery life enabled by AMD PowerNow! technology and the benefit of full wireless compatibility with many of today's most popular wireless solutions.

"AMD continues to shake up the industry by putting cutting-edge technology in the hands of real people who want to work and play on the go," said Marty Seyer, vice president and general manager, Microprocessor Business Unit, AMD. "With our low-power processors, PC manufacturers can pack heavyweight heavyweight - High-overhead; baroque; code-intensive; featureful, but costly. Especially used of communication protocols, language designs, and any sort of implementation in which maximum generality and/or ease of implementation has been pushed at the expense of mundane  performance into lightweight notebooks."
