AMD And Gateway Unveil Combined Solutions; Nine Of The Top 10 Worldwide PC Vendors Ship Systems Based On AMD-K6-2 Processors.

As Gateway expands its product line it may incorporate the AMD-K6(R)-2 processors in a variety of new Gateway systems.

The Gateway Select line, comprised of PCs manufactured for consumers, incorporates the AMD-K6-2 processor at speeds of 450, 400 and 366 MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock.
