AMD/MediaPOINTE Continues Product Evolution with New Software Version 2; Enhances MediaPOINTE's DMR, DNP and DVC Product Lines.

The new software can be applied across the existing product line and is standard on MediaPOINTE's new DMR150, 160, 210 and 310.

Software Version 2 brings improved file management to the DMR line, including greater folder security options, SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) The standard e-mail protocol on the Internet and part of the TCP/IP protocol suite, as defined by IETF RFC 2821. SMTP defines the message format and the message transfer agent (MTA), which stores and forwards the mail.  support and its unique CopyMe! technology. CopyMe! utilizes an integrated optical drive and flash drive port so users can record a session and immediately take it with them after a meeting. With this capability, educational and corporate customers can easily and quickly distribute copies of content without the help of an AV specialist.
