AMD, Napster among Wall Street's movers


Stocks that were moving substantially or trading heavily Friday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

NYSE

Advanced Micro Devices, down $1.92 at $18.26.

The microprocessor maker warned falling prices for computer chips would hurt fourth-quarter results.

Owens-Illinois Inc., up $1.41 at $21.55.

The maker of glass bottles and other products announced it was considering the sale of its plastics business, which produces prescription bottles, tamperproof closures and medical devices.

Cablevision Systems Corp., down $1.21 at $28.39.

The family that founded the company raised its buyout bid to a "best and final offer," signaling that a more lucrative bid might be unlikely.

NASDAQ

RC2 Corp., down $5.22 at $39.31.

The maker of toys and infant-care products warned its 2006 profit would fall amid slow sales and high costs for zinc.

Napster Inc., up 28 cents at $4.10.

The online music retailer announced it will become exclusive music subscription provider for Time Warner Inc.'s AOL Music, in a deal analysts say is worth about $15 million.

Elizabeth Arden Inc., down 40 cents at $18.67.

The fragrance and skin care retailer fell after an analyst said the company was becoming less attractive as a buyout target.
